Don Theresa Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. was founded in August 2015 with the core vision of empowering Sri Lankan students by providing reliable and accessible pathways to higher education abroad. The organization was established by Dr. Pio Wilfred, a seasoned General Practitioner formerly attached to Nawaloka Hospital, who identified a growing demand among local students for international academic exposure and global career opportunities.
Initially, Don Theresa Consultancy
operated in collaboration with ABCC Phoenix Pvt. Ltd. (Crewell Profile), a reputed Shipping company. The consultancy later became part of Esthaki Shipping Ltd. (esthaki.com), expanding its scope and network across Eastern Europe, particularly focusing on student placements in Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan, while also paving the way for opportunities in Ireland and Canada.
Over the past decade, the consultancy has successfully guided loads of students in gaining admission to globally recognized universities, especially in medicine, engineering, information technology, and business management programs. Through our support, many Sri Lankan youths have realized their dreams of studying and settling abroad.
In 2025, recognizing the need to streamline services and deliver more specialized support to a growing client base, Don Theresa Consultancy made a strategic decision to separate from its previous affiliations. The company was restructured and re-registered under a new management framework led by Mr. Pro Wilfred, a dynamic leader and Business Analyst at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). This transition marked a new chapter, with a stronger emphasis on transparency, professionalism, and direct institutional partnerships.
Today, Don Theresa Consultancy operates independently with a dedicated team of education consultants, documentation experts, and international liaisons, aiming to provide end-to-end services—from university application and visa processing to pre-departure orientation and post-arrival support.
We continue to expand our global partnerships and have active collaborations with educational institutions and training centers in Canada, Ireland, France, and Easter Europe, Central Asia. Our new official website is under development and will soon offer a comprehensive platform for inquiries, applications, partner affiliations, and student testimonials.
